Do I need to book an appointment?
It is recommended that you make an appointment with us if you are looking to try on wedding suits. you can contact us on 01903247701. If you just need a fitting it isn't neccessary.
How much notice do I need to book a suit?
For wedding suits we recommend around 6 months in advance to make sure you secure your outfit of choice. However we have the stock in store so we can do wedding suits at very short notice.
For Tuxedo hire you can book months in advance if you wish or a week is great but we can normally get you a tuxedo to take with you if its last minute. (this service doesn't cost anything extra)
For Prom suits we need as much notice as possible as all the local schools hold their proms in the same week. We run very low on stock very quickly, as most parents know most boys of the same age are similar sizes and have similar tastes so our designer stock gets booked out very quickly.
When are the suits available for collection and required for return?
For Friday/Saturday/Sunday weddings the suits are usually ready Tuesday afternoon (after 2pm) and required to return Sat/Mon. We contact you as soon as they are ready.
For mid week weddings collection depends on a few factors but normally they are ready a couple of days before the event. Please contact us for more information.
What deposit do I need to leave and when is the balance required?
We need a deposit to secure your suit normally £30 per adult suit (we don't take deposits for children) and the balance payment is required when you collect your suit/s.
Do I need to leave a security deposit?
We do need to have something for our security- normally we just take card details (no actually money will be taken) and then once the suits have been returned your card details will be destroyed.
You can alternatively leave a £50 cash security deposit per suit.
What happens if I damage the suit?
You can have our accidental damage insurance which is £5 per suit and all accidents will be covered, But don't worry too much if its stains we can nearly always get them out (even red wine) and if its damage we can fix we don't charge either.
However if the suit or accessories is damaged beyond repair or its damaged because of neglect you will be required to pay the full retail price for the item, this also applies if the item is lost.
Do we have to get everyone in for fittings as I have people that don't live locally?
Its not a problem at all- we normally just ask you to get someone to do some tape measure measurements and we will get the suit ready from those, don't worry we can always swap things over if the sizes aren't quite right. It is obviously best to get everyone to try on the actual outfit they are going to have- if possible as sizes can vary from make to make.
Do all the members of my wedding party need to come in at the same time?
We normally recommend that the Groom, Bride and possibly the Best Man or a Dad come in first and take their time trying on as many different suits and accessories as they like. Shirts and shoes will also be available to try on, so you can see exactly how you will look on the big day. When you have decided on a certain outfit, we can then discuss what the other members of the party will wear. They can come in at a later stage either on their own or with you.
Not all the members of the wedding part are happy about wearing tails - does this mean nobody can?
