Hire Wear
All garments will remain the property of Greys Suit Hire at all times.
Greys Suit Hire will work with the hirer to best ensure the correct size and fit for your occasion. A fitting of not less than eight weeks prior to the hire date will be required for Greys Suit Hire to be able to ensure a good fit of the suits. If a hiring person is not able to have attended a fitting within the eight weeks period, Greys Suit Hire will not be able to guarantee a good fitting garment and can not be held responsible.
It is for the Hirer to ensure that all members of the party book in for their fittings as 8-12 weeks prior to the event so as Greys Suit Hire can confirm good availability of the stock and sizes required.
In the event of members of the party that can not attend a fitting due to location, Greys Suit Hire will do their utmost to work with them to ensure a good fitting suit. However, without a physical fitting taken place in store, Greys Suit Hire can not be held responsible for any incorrect sizing’s.
All items will be collected and returned to Greys Suit Hire at our store at the allotted time Sat/Sun weddings will be required to return no later than the Monday after the event.
Greys Suit Hire will endeavour to have the suits ready for collection the Tuesday afternoon the week of the event. Greys Suit Hire will contact the hirer once the suit is ready for collection.
Once the suits/outfits have been collected for the occasion, it is the hirers responsibility to ensure the suits/outfits fit correctly and that all items are correct. The hirer and party members should try on the garments once collected for hire. If the hirer feels that they have altered in size or require a change for any reason, they must inform Greys Suit Hire ASAP to try to remedy any issues. In any case, Greys Suit Hire will require two working days notice to organise any change over garments. This is of significant importance if the event or occasion is imminent.
A minimum of £30 deposit will be required at the time of the booking and full payment on collection of the hirewear. Any deposits paid will not be refundable after 14 days as this is part payment of the final bill unless the function date is within 30 days of booking then we will order garments straight away and a refund would not be possible. 
The hirer assumes full responsibility of the Garments from the moment of collection of the suits.
The garments are due back to Greys Suit Hire on the next working day after the event, unless agreed otherwise by Greys Suit Hire.
Any damage not deemed to be general wear will be charged to the hirer. Greys Suit Hire assume that returned items will require general cleaning but will otherwise be returned in good condition. If the item has been damaged accidentally, insurance taken out with Greys Suit Hire will cover these liabilities.

Insurance covers accidental damage and not negligence or malicious damage- it does not cover if the whole suit is deemed unwearable and unhireable to future customers- ie if the whole suit is damaged due to negligence.

The insurance is £7.50 per person, if a hirer doesn't take the insurance we will require £100 per suit holding deposit which will be returned to the hirer once the suit has been checked over. if you take the £7.50 insurance you do not need to leave the deposit.

Insurance does not cover hats or canes these are hired at the customers own risk.

Any items lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair will be charged at full retail price.

We want you to have a good time in our suits and normal splatters and spills are not an issue, however if there is excessive amounts of grass/mud/grease marks you may incur a deep clean charge of £10 per item.
Any items not returned one working day after the event date are liable to be charged at a full days hire for each day not returned. The person named in the contract is responsible for all suits hired and is financially liable for late returns or damaged items.
Any items not returned within one week of the agreed return/collection date, will be charged at the full retail price of the missing garments.
Greys Suit Hire will not be held liable for any injury, damage or fire caused by the hirer/wearer whilst using the garments.
Greys Suit Hire will not be held liable for any cost incurred by the hirer to meet or attend any appointments.
Cancellations – All deposits and payments are non refundable but can be transferred to a new date.

From time to time Greys Suit Hire will have to change an entire range of hire suits. This is unavoidable as hire wear will become tired and worn and it is important that we ensure our hire wear looks impeccable for the current hirer. Greys Suit Hire will always try to replace with an identical suit or a as closer a match as possible. It is possible the original suit chosen by the wearer maybe a slightly different suit if the stock has changed, but we will keep the suit as close to a match in colour and design as possible. There is sometimes a difference in colour with hirewear due to being cleaned at different quantities.
In Store Purchase returns
Greys Suit Hire will offer a refund or exchange within 30 days of a purchase item bought from stock in store. The exception to this is, if an item has been specially ordered in for you as a customer with a 50% deposit paid to confirm the order of a non stocked item, size specific orders or an item has been altered. Then a full refund or exchange is not possible unless this is a sold as seen item then an exchange or refund is not possible.
If a special order is cancelled prior to receipt of the item, the deposit has been paid and the item is on order, the customer is obligated to complete the full purchase of the ordered item.
We would not be able to offer a refund for any product which is deemed to have been damaged although, we will offer a refund or exchange for an item which is deemed faulty.
If a faulty product is returned within 30 days after purchase, you have the right to a full refund.
When returning a product you will be required provide a receipt /invoice.
